OVERVIEW

 

Naturopathy & Yoga is a medical system that nurtures the body to prevent and cure diseases
by taking the body, mind & soul as a whole. The system of medicine describes an individual's
well-being at physical, mental, social, and spiritual levels. Naturopathic Medicine and
Yogic Science is a unique healthcare profession that emphasizes prevention, treatment,
and optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and substances that
encourage individuals’ inherent self-healing process. Naturopathic medicine includes
traditional, scientific, and empirical methods. The professional Bachelor of Naturopathy
and Yogic Science (BNYS) program, started in 2019 at SGT University, provides
rigorous, systematic training covering a well-planned course curriculum and
comprehensive clinical training supported by advanced teaching leading to
groundbreaking workouts. The BNYS program trains physicians for the future of
medicine, having a severe commitment to contribute towards the globally accepted
concepts of integrative holistic healthcare. SGT University continually strives to create
innovative leaders in the field of Naturopathic Medicine and Yoga. The college is
attached to the SGT Naturopathy and Yoga Hospital setup, which offers healthcare
facilities to the patient, including one-to-one consultation, various naturopathy
treatments such as Hydrotherapy, Massage therapy, Acupuncture & Acupressure,
Enema, Diet therapy, Yoga Therapy etc

MISSION

To provide a holistic curriculum that emphasize on quality academic standards to create and
sustain a personalized environment to support students’ innovations, intellect, ethics, social
and physical development and also to facilitate hands-on learning experience by applying
knowledge and skills through innovations, projects by connecting disciplines, research,
industry visits, good practices of teaching and learning in academics, reinforcing the essential
and important concepts of Yoga Therapy and Naturopathic Medicine.
