Under the direction of Dr. Rajiv Rastogi, Dean FNYS, and Dr. Drishti Saini, Resident Medical Officer, “The Awareness and Health Checkup Camp” was organized by the Faculty of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences at SGT University in Gurugram.
This health screening and awareness camp drew more than 40 visitors from the neighborhood. The attendees received a free health checkup and counselling for their ailments and lifestyle modifications. It was noted the body temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, BMI, and random blood sugar levels. The coordinators also learned about the residents of New Palam Vihar and the surrounding areas’ health problems. The students found the event to be successful because they learned about the health issues facing society and gained knowledge from the counseling and awareness sessions.
Both the instructors and the students celebrated the event’s success, and everyone who took part was happy with how it turned out. It was also a modest attempt to educate the public about yoga and naturopathy through media coverage.
