The Faculty of Naturopathy and Yogic Science recently organized a free medical health check-up camp in Ismailpur Village, Gurugram Haryana on the 11th and 12th of March 2023 as part of its outreach activities. The camp aimed to provide free physical examinations and blood pressure measurements, along with other health services, to the community. The event was actively managed by BNYS students from the 2nd year batch who played a significant role in conducting the camp.
The team of doctors, which included Dr. Drishti (Resident Medical Officer), Vishal (Male therapist), and Nikesh (Attendant), conducted physical examinations and provided demonstrations of different Naturopathic and Yogic therapies to the patients who participated in the camp. The attendees had the opportunity to learn more about Reflexology, Acupuncture, Dietary modifications, and other Nature Cure Treatments.
The camp was well-received by the community, with more than 25 people from the village and nearby areas attending the camp for their health check-ups. The Faculty of Naturopathy and Yogic Science is proud to have contributed to the well-being of the community and hopes to organize more such events in the future.
