Seminar on “Health For All”

On the 6th of March, 2022, the Faculty of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, under the aegis of IIC-SGT University, orchestrated a Seminar on “Health for All” on the occasion of “World Health Day”. The seminar sought to spread awareness about the significance of healthcare access and equity, with over 100 healthcare professionals in attendance from various faculties.

The seminar was graced by the presence of three distinguished speakers who brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the discussion. Dr. Asha Gandhi, a renowned medical practitioner with over three decades of experience, spoke passionately about the importance of universal healthcare and how policymakers must prioritize healthcare as a fundamental human right. Her words struck a chord with the audience, inspiring them to advocate for equitable healthcare access.

Ms. Shiv Khandekar, a Senior Research Fellow at CCRYN, spoke about the challenges of delivering healthcare in resource-limited settings. She shared her extensive experience in implementing healthcare programs in these areas, providing practical insights into how healthcare access could be improved.

Mrs. Jyoti Aggarwal, a Naturopathy Consultant, gave a heartfelt account of her struggle to access healthcare and provided valuable advice on how to maintain good health at home. Her words resonated with the audience, who left feeling inspired to take charge of their own health.

The seminar was interactive, with attendees actively engaging in discussions and asking insightful questions. The event ended with a call to action, urging attendees to continue advocating for healthcare access and equity. The seminar was a tremendous success in achieving its objectives, with attendees leaving with a deeper understanding of the importance of healthcare access and equity in achieving universal healthcare.
